Discover Dental Implants-Here is a great FAQ graphic for you to review.  Graphic by the Tempe Periodontics, LTD

Did you know that dental implants can be used to replace a single tooth, multiple teeth or an entire missing arch of teeth?  The procedure has become so easy for the patient compared with what it was years ago.  Now only a small opening is placed in the gum and the implant is guided into the bone.  The discomfort after the surgery is now very easy compared to years ago.  We often hear our patients say they only took one or two pain pills and many people take none.

We let the implant heal for several months then insert the second stage and place a crown or denture attachment onto that.  Once everything is set and healed a dental implant is just like your natural teeth.

Do You Need Dental Implants? We’ve Got Choices For You!

Do you need dental implants? Well we have them for you!

Dental implants are known to be the most ethical and strongest when it comes to tooth replacement options or stabilizing dentures. Dental implants replace the tooth root making for great structural support. Dental implants have one of  the highest success rate of any implanted surgical device.

Implant material, which is made of titanium, is extremely lightweight, but strong and biocompatible and the bone treats the implant just as if it was made out of bone. The bone cells attach themselves to the implant in a process called osseointegration. After an initial healing period, during which the implant(s) is left undisturbed underneath the gum tissue, it is then uncovered and connected to a small post that serves as the foundation for the tooth or teeth that the implant will be supporting.

Bohle Family Dentistry offers multiple types of dental implants:dental imlant choices
