Protect Your Teeth Like Stephen Curry Does With An Athletic Mouthguard

athletic mouthguardYesterday afternoon I watched a NBA game on TV.  If you like basketball then watching Stephan Curry is must see TV.  He is certainly a remarkable player.  I did notice that he wears an althletic mouthguard when he plays.  He must do that to protect his smile and teeth.  If it is good enough for Stephen then isn't it good enough for you?  He is the 2015 NBA MVP and a 3-time All-Star.  He thinks it is important.  You should to.  Protect your smile by wearing an athletic mouthguard.

If you watch Stephen Curry play it won't take long for you to see the mouthguard.  In fact when he shoots a free throw he usually has it hanging out of the side of his mouth.  He is smart to wear the mouthguard because the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry lists basketball as a leading cause of injuries to the face and teeth!

There are lots of different kinds of mouthpieces.  Find one that you like and wear it all the time when playing.  This office can fabricate a custom mouthguard but even wearing "boil-and-bite"  guard is much better than nothing.  If you start to notice, more and more top level athletes in all kinds of competion are wearing mouthguards.  It provides that extra level of security and protection for your mouth, face and smile.
